Strange Love

This was a picture I started over the summer and I just finished it today. This is more of me just practicing doing backgrounds with my markers, I definantly have a lot more improvement to do with them.
I feel I got colouring characters and trees down pact and I feel like I am good with the water, but the sky, blecchies @.@ I hate the sky XD Anyone have any tips or ideas on how I could make a good gradient effect with markers for skies? I tried using the blender marker but it did not seem to work very well :/ My markers might also just be too small to cover a wide range, I think I might stick to using inks and watercolour/watercolour pencils for larger BGs.

This is me feeling like doing a slightly naughty picture Xd This is my dragon character Ceres making out with her older brother Amaranth on a beach XD At the time they did not know they were related, I just thought it would have been a fun picture to do.
